This course discusses strategic policies, practices and functions of human resource management in a business environment.  In seeks to provide a critical understanding of the role of human resource management in the accomplishment of strategic business objectives and goals through the exploration of various theoretical and applied perspectives. Also, issues and challenges of local and global strategic human resource management are discussed.
