Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) is inviting qualified candidates to enroll in our postgraduate programs for the 2023/2024 intake session (beginning September 2023).

The closing date for the January 2024 trimester intake is on the 30 October 2023 (for international students) and 31 November 2023 (for local students).

The closing date for the May 2024 trimester intake is on the 28 February 2024 (for international students) and 31 March 2024 (for local students).

The closing date for the September 2024 trimester intake is on the  30 June 2024 (for international students) and 31 July 2024 (for local students).

This program starts in January/May/September 2024.

The cost for the program can be viewed under prespective students, by program under tuition fee.

Payment is based on trimester basis. Pay every trimester register.

This program is 100% on campus and we are looking on possibility to have it hybrid or online in near future.

Yes we do have part time and full time mode for Local students and only full time mode for International.

University Utara Malaysia main campus is located in Sintok, Kedah. The campus sits on a 1,061-hectare site and is 48 km north of Alor Setar, 10 km south of the Bukit Kayu Hitam and are near the Malaysia-Thailand border. Other towns near UUM are Jitra and Changlun.

Alternatively, UUM has a city campus in Kuala Lumpur. UUMKL Campus is the first UUM fully owned study center outside Sintok and operated directly by UUM. It is a non-residential campus which occupies a nine-story building in the city center along Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz in the Kampung Baru area and adjacent to Chow Kit.

On funding opportunities for this program, I regret to inform you that the OYAGSB has suspend offering funding for this program and we are not sure when we will begin offering again in the future. Other source of funding can be sought from 3rd party funders for postgraduate studentship; however, candidates have to source and apply for such funds on their own. This program is taught in English.  All International postgraduate students should meet any one of the following English Language requirements.

Satisfy any one of the following English language assessments:

TOEFL Score of 550 and above in the Paper Based Test
IELTS of Band 6.0 and above
MUET of Band 4.0 and above
Cambridge English Advanced Test score of 169 and above
Pearson Test of English Academic score of 50 and above
Exemption for meeting the above English Language requirement are given to candidates with any of the following qualifications: 

Obtain a degree from any institutions with English language Education System
Obtain a degree from any Public University in Malaysia with English as a language of instruction
Obtain a degree from any Private University or College University in Malaysia that are listed in Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR)
Students who do not meet any of the above English language requirement will not be allowed to register. They may attend the Intensive Language Course for International Students that will prepare and assist them for their MUET examination.
