The OYAGSB MBA students collected used clothes and footwear items to be donated to the  Anjung Singgah of the National Welfare Foundation (YKN), Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the Ramadhan MBA @ OYAGSB KL Programme recently.

Anjung Singgah is an agency under the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development under the auspices of Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. Anjung Singgah YKN is established to help the homeless to give them space and opportunity to live independently.

Anjung Singgah YKN also provides temporary shelter and food. It is also an intervention centre to prepare the homeless to meet the challenges so that they will not miss out on the country's development.

Director of the Planning and Development Unit of YKN, Ms Nordina Haron, was present to receive the donation. Also in attendance were Senior Supervisor of the Anjung Singgah, Ms Sharmila Shaari, and YKN Supervisor Assistant, Mr Hazrul.

The Director of Student Experience & Customer Care, Associate Prof Dr Marlin Marissa Malek and OYAGSB KL Programme Coordinator, Dr Sabariah Yaakub, and Project Leader, Ms Hidayah Husaini, were also there to represent OYAGSB.
